Pottery Painting - still more choices...

1. Choose your piece - we have lots to choose from - plates, bowls, mugs, animal figurines, dog and cat dishes, treat jars, picture frames, banks, boxes, a full line of Disney Licensed Bisque, the list goes on and if you can't find it, just let us know, we are happy to try to accomodate your special requests.
2. Kiln fired paints or Acrylic paints?
   • Kiln fired paints have glass particles in the paint - after being painted on a piece, they stay with us for 5-7 days and are glazed and kiln fired to 1800+ degrees to create a glass coating - this seals in your artwork and makes your item food safe and dishwasher safe.  Can't bear to wait for your creation?  Read about the acrylic option next. 
   • Acrylic paints can be used on figurines, banks, boxes, and items that are not intended to hold or contain food/liquid.  They are great with our 10", 6", and 4" letters for decorating a room.  Acrylics are the perfect choice for that last minute gift or if you are are here from out of town.
3. Paint your item any way you like - we will give you special instructions at your table to help you along your way and show you where everything is in the studio.  Relax and take your time.  Discover your inner Picasso  - he's the one who said "Every child is an artist.  The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." 
4. Did I mention relax?  Don't worry about your table - we are happy to put the paints and brushes away.
5. When you are done painting, bring your item up to us and we will take care of the rest. 
6. The final oooh / aahh moment...
   • For kiln fired paints - leave the item with us and we will give you a call when it is ready - guaranteed within 7 days, sometimes a little quicker.
   • For acrylic paints - the item needs to dry completely before we spray it with the gloss coat.  If you would like to walk the mall for a few minutes or grab a snack in the food court - your item will be ready in about 15 minutes depending on the amount of drying time needed.
